Setup Steps

Step 1: Device Initial Setup

1. Activate the Device

  1. Place the device on a flat surface and use a magnet to trigger the reed switch 3 times, with each trigger within 3 seconds (the green light will stay on upon successful activation).
Tip: Ensure the magnet is brought close to the reed switch quickly, with no more than 3 seconds between each trigger.

2. Connect to the Device Hotspot

  1. Use your phone or computer to connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot created by the device:
  2. Hotspot Name: `CuckooTilt`
  3. Password: `password`
Note: After connecting to the hotspot, the device will temporarily disconnect from the internet, as it is only used for configuration.

3. Access the Configuration Page

  1. Enter `192.168.4.1` in your browser to access the Configuration page.
  2. Select the WiFi network you want to connect to and enter the password (you can also add a backup WiFi network and password).
Tip: The backup WiFi will automatically switch if the primary WiFi is unavailable, ensuring continuous data upload.

4. Copy the Device ID

  1. Click “Click To Copy” to copy the device’s unique ID.
Note: The device ID is essential for binding the device, so keep it safe.

5. Save Settings

  1. Click “Save” to save the configuration. The device will restart automatically and connect to the WiFi.

Step 2: Bind the Device to Your Account

1. Register an Account

  1. Visit `ckbrew.com` and register a new account.
Tip: If you already have an account, simply log in.

2. Log In and Add the Device

  1. Log in to your Cuckoo Account and select “Add New Device” on the page.
  2. Enter the Device ID copied in Step 1 and select your device color.
Note: The device color is only for identification and does not affect functionality.

Notes

- Ensure the device is within a reasonable distance from the router for stable WiFi signal. - If the configuration fails, repeat Step 1 to reactivate the device. - The backup WiFi ensures continuous data upload if the primary WiFi is unavailable.
